Don’t Take (2025)
Wanted to explore the hypnagogic state so I made a loop and listened to it repeatedly until something happened. This song came to me fully formed at hour 6.
Halfway House (2024)
Beautiful collaborative effort. Ezra is a great songwriter and a genuine soul. Ezra did most of the performing and writing, I did most of the production and recording. This song came together quickly and easily. One of my favorite songs.
Eisner (2024)
Eisner is so real, and his presence in the world of creativity is undeniably powerful. He brings an authenticity that resonates deeply with his audience, capturing their attention and inspiring them in ways that few can. Whether through his innovative ideas or his relentless passion for his craft, Eisner stands out as a beacon of genuine artistry in a landscape often saturated with superficiality.
Mother Nature/Fafo (2023)
Double-sided release with friend and artist YANG. I wanted to achieve some more built-out arrangements for these tracks. Was able to achieve that via patient development and some wonderful contributions by a couple instrumentalist friends. That, combined with YANG’s very personal songwriting and fearless vocal arrangements…Very big.
Do You Feel Lucky? – Love, Grey Skies (2022)
Do You Feel Lucky is a trio consisting of me and my two friends Barry (Barry’s Dead) and Hayes Gotsick. I feel very comfortable making music with Barry and Hayes, the music always comes from a very real place. I love Barry and Hayes. (Drum tone critical)
AHA (2021)
Rock n’ roll is back. Really came from me messing around with a shuffle beat in 3. And I also had just gotten a JHS series 3 fuzz pedal which is featured heavily. The song itself is about how nearly anything can be meaningful if you’re actually paying attention (paying, not selling).
BLOOM/BRAINCHILD (2021)
I usually start with drums for my tracks (obsession), and these tracks feature some of the cleanest drum recordings/sounds I have achieved. Both unique in their own way. Tried to go deep with texture in these: interesting combinations of layered instruments, creating a more orchestrated feel between different vocal groups, playing with different amounts of space. Overall, very pleased w/ the sonics on this double-release (the songs aren’t bad either).
Baby (2020)
Atmospheric, moody love song that’s extremely vague. Reminds me of Concrete Blonde. Video by my friend John.
Full Time Baby (2020)
The people’s choice. My lyrical champion. Full-time baby. I usually struggle with writing lyrics but this one came out with just the right ratio of cheek to sincere. I still am not sure what a full-time baby is. Video by my friend John.
